Last night, I was at a bar when then Black Keys song “The Only One” came on. It instantly brought me back to my first job out of college, when I had afternoons of extreme boredom and would read every book and music review I could get my hands on. I would make lists on post-its of books to buy and bands to check out. I got really into the Black Keys at that time (and bought so many books that my frugal dad would desperately ask me if I had ever heard of a library).
